BTUC is a Private Higher Education Institution. We are GOVERNMENTALLY registered as a University College by the Higher Education Authority (HEA) of Zambia (hea.org.zm) to offer ACCREDITED programs.

BTUC ACCREDITED learning programs are registered by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (www.zaqa.gov.zm) as Qualifications on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) which have met the INTERNATIONAL standards and requirements for registration. The Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Zambia to develop and implement a National Qualifications Framework to ensure that standards and registered qualifications are internationally comparable.

In addition, we are certified by the Church of God Division of Education (USA) as a degree granting institutions with oversight from Church of God (churchofgod.org) as a ministry of Church of God World Missions (cogwm.org).

BTUC's current registrations, accreditations, certifications, authorizations, and memberships are as follows:

1. Registered and Accredited by the Higher Education Authority (HEA) of the Zambian government.
2. Registered and Accredited by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA) for international recognition.
3. Founding Member of the Chaplains Association of Zambia (CAZ).
4. Member of Christian Colleges & Universities Association (CCUA) of Zambia.
5. Certified by the Church of God Division of Education (USA) as a Level III theological training institution and officially approved to offer degrees.
6. Authorized by the Church of God School of Ministry (USA) to offer Certificates in Ministerial Studies (CIMS).
